The breakfast buffet is a dream! An adequate selection of delicious food that is as fresh as it gets, especially the fresh fruit and bread made it such a treat. The two pools are fantastic, one heated and one colder option for those who want to cool down properly.

Everything! The hotel is great, it is small but has everything you need. The room was spacious and comfortable, the pool was great, the bar and restaurants are located very comfortably.

The location is wonderful, quite and natural around so feeling relax, upgrade the garden room is big and comfy close to swimming pool outdoor. Indoor swimming pool, sauna and spa room, gym room are so great! Breakfast and dinner are not special but good!

The garden is amazing. The hotel offers tons of opportunities starting with yoga, and bike rental up to oldtimer rides. It is very well located, 15 min walk from the beautiful Botanical garden. I appreciate the friendly staff and welcoming atmosphere.

Quiet street in a beautiful neighborhood. The hotel, located behind a school, has a nice pool and garden perfect for children to play. Comfortable bed. Good value. Excellent breakfast. Our room had a terrace with comfortable furniture to sit on.

We had a great time at Hotel Jasmin. The owner and her team was really friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was excellent, with a lot of choice! The room was clean and comfortable. The pool and the garden were really nice to cool off!

Excellent breakfast, quiet location, spacious rooms. Although the structure isn't the newest, the bathroom was freshly renovated. Free parking.

Lovely location very accessible from the town centre by bus and very close to the botanical gardens. The rooms were clean and comfortable and we had a very large balcony. We didn't use the sauna or the hot tub but the pool was lovely. The real star of the show, however, was the superb breakfast!

Great location. 15 minute walk into town or an easy bus service. Breakfast was beautifully homemade and had lots of options. Hotel was very clean and tidy. The staff were exceptional which made the stay very enjoyable.

Amazing Hotel with beautiful views the staff were helpful the food in the restaurant what’s the best we had during our holiday. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate. I could not recommend this hotel highly enough.

So welcoming, you feel like you are at home while on holiday. It's in a quiet zone, so you get a good nights rest. Breakfast is excellent too.

A perfect place to stay! Unfortunately, I was on a drive through to the south of Italy. But this was a great place to stop. It started with a personal touch. I would love to come back but to stay for more than only one night! The garden is amazing.

It is a great hostel for motorcycle riders, it is located in a hairpin turn. Dedicated parking lot for motorcycles with roof. The view from room balcony and restaurant terrace was great. Bed was very convenient for me. The breakfast was plenty and tasty.

All was good more than expected! Rooms where very nice and balcony with the view just made it perfect. Breakfast was delicious and staff was friendly. Also for bikers there will be companions waiting for your arrival. Location is great just where the mountain pass starts.

This establishment is in a perfect location,if we had known how good this was i would of stayed longer if known before hand.The pool&sauna was an bonus.The staff are very friendly the food is fantastic and the view from restaurant is amazing.This is one place i wont forget.

A really nice hotel, set at the foot of the mountains, the inside conversion of the rooms was a real surprise. Beautiful finished in wood, with a big double bed and a bathtub in the room. Everything was excellent! Amazing managers and breakfast.

Very nice and lovely hotel with a good location near the village center, quiet, clean, comfortable beds, spacious bathroom, terrace or balcony, deck chairs, sauna and small pool, free parking in underground garage, excellent breakfast with the rich choice. If you want to visit Dorf Tirol, I highly recommend this hotel. It's not just bed and breakfast, it's like visiting good friends, who will host you kindly and lavishly. Service, reception and customer care are at the highest level.

We had a wonderful stay in Amelia Rooms and loved the village of Tirolo. The Müller family who runs the hotel is so warm and welcoming. Their team of staff are all also very polite and friendly. Guests are given lots of good advice on what to do and see in the area. Many of the other guests seem to return year after year, which is always a good sign. The rooms are nice and clean, equipped with a nice balcony and a large-sized and very comfortable bed. The facilities of the hotel; pool, Finnish sauna, and infrared sauna are all very clean and well looked after. The breakfast was wonderful - a range of sweet and savoury options are available, as well as hot and cold food items. Many tasty, local specialities were on offer, in addition to the usual breakfast selection. The hotel is located in a quiet street, only a few steps from the centre of the village and also offers secure parking. Dogs are also welcome to stay for a fee, which is always appreciated by us dog owners.

Nice family hotel. Very good breakfast, professional and friendly staff. Fantastic after-dinner dinners. I recommend visiting this hotel.

The natural, outdoor pool is the highlight for me for sure. They have a normal pool too, but the natural pool was great! The breakfast buffet was good. There was ample parking. if you stay in the connecting building, you get to use the garage. The balcony was spacious.

Staff is incredibly attentive, the food is gastronomic level, and the facilities are modern and spacious

Great service and don't miss the halfboard, the dinners were super delicious. Kudos to the whole team for making a memorable experience for the guests. Location is excellent, the bus stop is very close if you don't want to use the car to move around.

Good location with a pool. Good dinner and breakfast. Friendly and helpful staff. The bed pillows (large and small) were much better than in other hotels. It was pleasant to sit ouside on the balcony.

We had a romatic stay at Moserhof. Breakfast was nice and fresh, acenary was amazing. Very relaxing environment.

stayed in the suite Laugenspitz, great value. very big room, magnificent view for a very small price tag. Breakfast was great too, everything fresh and of high quality. We usually stay at 5 star places but this stay made me overthink that. Fantastic personal service as well.

The location is very nice, the hotel is surrounded with apple gardens. There is a swimming pool inside, and the breakfast was really delicious. You can order eggs on top of the buffet.

The breakfast room was exceptionally well-ornated, with a nice view outside. There were many dishes to choose from, and the coffee was tasty. we enjoyed using the jacuzzi, the pool and the sauna. The room had a nice view of the surrounding mountains.

We upgraded our room to one with aircon in the new section, as it was very hot. Room was lovely - modern and spacious with a huge bathroom, comfy bed and big balcony with a mini clothesline.

The staff were extremely caring and friendly with great local recommendations for actiivities and restaurants. The Breakfast and Evening buffets were excellent and we would quickly return for that alone.

This boutique hotel is situated in a lovely part of Merano and within 1 10 min walking distance of the old town. The staff (especially Stephan) was fantastic. One of the nicest hotels I have ever been to. The staff is amazing and the hotel is wonderful. You feel really welcomed and taken care of. The location of the hotel is amazing for the hiking trails and the view is just mesmerizing.

Everything is just perfect, the infinity swimming pool and the forest sauna are my favourite but also the views and all the staff was amazing. They upgrade us to a sauna spa room and it was the cherry on the cake.

I like everything about the property. Very luxurious property with friendly and professional staff. They provide personalised service to every customer and their lovely gestures are top notch.

Direi che siamo stati pienamente soddisfatti. Se si vuole si possono noleggiare bici elettriche con seggiolino per bambini. Inoltre sono stati disponibili per quanto rigurada la preparazione della pappa per nostro figlio.

Pulito, tranquillo, ottimo cibo, personale e direzione gentili e affidabili. Da riprovare.

Rooms are spacious, comfortable and clean. Service is very good. We very much enjoyed our trip to the Therme in Meran, when the outside pools are open, this place is fantastic.

The hotel is pretty new, the apartment is perfect for a small family, there is all necessary staff. It is professionally cleaned, and everything was more than what we expected. The restaurant offers different dishes even if they are master in meat. Parking was large and under the apartment window.

The highest quality bed and breakfast we have ever stayed in. The room was spacious with a vast comfortable bed and two balconies so we could enjoy the really beautiful views of the mountains and valleys. Breakfast was a joy with a huge choice of fresh local produce, all served with happy smiles. The winery was a real bonus with outstanding Chardonnay and Weissburgunder wines produced by Herr Pichler from the vineyard surrounding us. We will very happily take up Frau Eggar's invitation to stay again.

A very cosy place overlooking the valley, very friendly staff, excellent breakfast on the terrace, wine and prosecco from the own vineyard at the pool, daily recommendations for restaurants. A little outside the village therefore no noise and more space. Meraner Höhenweg und Meran 2000 for hiking reachable by car in a few minutes, Waalwege in front of the door. Should have stayed longer.

The gourmet 5 course dinners were the best meals we have ever had. The presentation, flavors and creativity would challenge any Michelin Star restaurant in the US . The staff were extremely friendly and personable. Starting with Beatrice before I arrive and connecting throughout my stay. The restaurant staff were super friendly, including Stella, Arta and Nikki. I would definitely recommend this facility to anyone looking to relax and rejuvenate!

It went really beyond our expectation, a private secluded kingdom with huge garden, two swimming pools, historical atmosphere, great restaurant, fresh ingredients, amazing SPA facilities, a few steps from Merano centre, good cocktails.

Perfect location to explore Merano on foot. Beautiful garden with lots of possibilties to relax and amazing outdoor swimming pool. Very friendly and helpful staff, made us feel very welcome and gave us fantastic tipps to spend our day.

Amazing olde world charm but upgraded so nicely. The staff are attentive and the property really luxe and special. The outdoor pool is perhaps the loveliest I’ve ever seen. Great spa. Really everything was over the top good. We stayed here 35 years ago and it’s even better now.

We absolutely loved our stay, the room was great and the view amazing. The outdoor and inside pool and spa area were perfect after a day out in Merano area.

We arrived at a cozy family hotel, we were met by a friendly owner who explained to us in great detail about all the possibilities of traveling in the vicinity of the city, gave us a QR code for free travel on the bus, told us about the sights and gave us the necessary types to make the trip comfortable! The room was perfectly clean, bright, pleasant, everything we needed was there. A wonderful view from the window, spacious. The breakfast was hearty and varied, you could order scrambled eggs to your taste, excellent coffee

- Breakfast: Many options, all delicious. - Staff: Super friendly and helpful. Had plenty of good talks with all of them (all of them are multilingual!). Wonderful people. - Facilities: Absolutely great. Swimming pool, sauna, relax area, garden. You can use any of them just by letting the staff know in the morning, and they will make sure that they are ready for you within minutes. Overall this was a wonderful experience. We had a lovely stay at this hotel. The location is very central, making it easy to explore the city on foot. The reception staff were extremely attentive and welcoming. You can clearly see that the hotel management cares deeply about guest satisfaction—every effort is made to ensure people leave with a smile. The rooms and common areas were very clean, and we especially enjoyed the breakfast, which was both delicious and served in a pleasant atmosphere.

Modern room with A/C and balcony, decent location with outstanding view over Merano, good garage parking (important in such a places!), very centric location. The pools are a bit small (10-12m long), so easy get crowded, but otherwise plenty of space for sundecks. Staff is excellent, caring and service oriented. Food on the dinner is excellent too, with mix of fine dining menu and easy grabs for kids, plus appetizers and cheese buffet.

The breakfast was gorgeous, really an amazing spread of fresh and local ingredients, and dried fruits and müesli, and a juicer, and an omelette and crepe chef -4 kinds of butter. Really amazing! Warm reception and friendly staff. The dinners were also great - as parents to 2 kids, we usually go for simple restaurants with kid-pleasing fare - but the dinner menu was truly fabulous, gourmet chef style, amazing choices where everyone could find something delicious and to their tastes, and a wonderful salad and appetizer buffet to accompany the dinner menu. And the kids had nice simpler options as well, and then could go downstairs to the playroom and let us enjoy the rest of our courses. The family room with a special kid bedroom was just what we needed, and the balconies were my favorite - unbelievable views. The pools and saunas were also wonderful - easily accessible even by elevator, great for my parents who were with us - the indoor pool is not huge but was just right for us to play and swim a bit with the kids, and even in October we could swim in the heated pool outdoors. (One is heated, one is not). I loved the gym - always makes vacation feel a little better when I can get a few workouts in. I didn't make it to the yoga hour, will have to save that for next time! Thank you guys for a lovely stay, our first time in South Tyrol and we will definitely be back!!

Just perfect get away destination in this lovely side valley from the Vinschgau. It is so quiet this part of the Alps, without feeling isolated . Food is awesome. Staff is very friendly and knowledgeable about outdoor activities. Wel kept neat premises. Sauna with a view! We love to return.

The location was quite amazing, both the setting in the mountains and the village itself. Hiking trails in the valley are great. The staff was very friendly, helpful, the room and the hotel was spotless.

We had a great experience at this historical and beautifully maintained hotel. The room was spacious, the bedding very comfortable and the location perfect The owner and front staff went out of their way to assist me when I had a medical need. Highly recommend.

An exceptional hotel. Service, comfort and food quite excellent.

A true luxury spa best utilized by those interested in more than a whirlpool and sauna though those were quite nice. This spa offers all the latest in treatments and exceptional quality food all provided by professional and courteous staff. Our room was spacious and comfortable with beautiful views of the mountains and the villa gardens. Situated a short 30 min walk to Merano’s city center we enjoyed our walks into the city and the surrounding hillside. If I had to be critical I’d say the pool temp could have been 1 degree (C) warmer, the steam sauna could have been steamier and maybe add a cold room to the spa. Two nights was too short.

I didn't remember it came with meals. I was hesitant to eat 3 meals a day there. However, it was phenomenal.

Beautiful hotel in a beautiful location! All the staff went above and beyond to cater for our every need. The pool is lovely and the food in the evening was perfect. Thank you for such a lovely stay, wish we could have stayed for longer.

The hotel is on a small mountain road, in a remote area, so if you are looking for a nice, quiet place in the nature this is just perfect. The views from the rooms and the restaurant terrace are amazing! Sauna and infinity pool are new and give a modern, cozy touch. Breakfast was already prepared at the table, small but good quality.

10/10 perfect experience. - AMAZING service from Kristoff and his family. They went over the top and provided the hospitality I think I've ever received. - We were the only Americans staying when we went they made us feel at home. - Breakfast + food was locally sourced and delicious. Lovely staff, warm, welcoming, helpful, friendly, (English speaking - excellent). Spacious rooms, well-appointed, super bathroom (nice glass-sided shower cubicle with double head.) Comfortable. 16m pool (clean, never too busy, well-maintained). Nice gardens. Outside jacuzzi. Wonderful. Breakfasts looked good (tho we preferred to go into town). The Merano area is beautiful with lots to do (cable cars, gardens, castles, walks, huge numbers of restaurants and cafes, all reliably good and not expensive). Loved it all.

The apartment had everything except air conditioning, which could be a problem on hot nights. Our apartment overlooked the gardens, swimming pool and mountains. We were given a card which gave free bus and train travel, free entry to many museums and free travel on some of the many cable cars in the area ... an amazing bonus. There were also bikes for the use of guests for free. This is a lovely area with loads to do for couples and families. And it is a place that is visited by very few British. It is in Italy but German is the main language due to being Austrian pre 1918.

Ein wunderschöner riesiger Garten, ein grosses geheiztes Schwimmbad, zwei Whirlpools innen und aussen, ein Fitnessraum, Sauna usw. schöne Zimmer mit grossem Balkon, ein top Frühstücksbuffet mit Speisen aus der Region, super gute Cocktails und Kuchen. Die Herzlichkeit des Teams (Besitzer und Angestellte) ist umwerfend. Jeder Wunsch wir dem Gast von den Lippen gelesen. Es macht einfach Freude zu sehen, dass das ganze Team mit ganzem Herzen dabei ist, die Gäste zu verwöhnen. Bei uns in der Schweiz sollten sich viele Hotels und Restaurants an der Gastfreundschaft im Südtirol ein Beispiel nehmen. Das Preis/Leitungsverhältnis ist einfach TOP. Herzlichen Dank für alles. Booking breakfast is highly recommended as it is meticulously prepared, delicious, and provides a perfect, pampering start to the day. The hotel is beautiful, the view from the room breathtaking but the food beats it all. Dinner was exquisite and we all agreed that we would love to marry the chef 😉 the staff was friendly throughout our stay. Everything was just perfect.

Perfect hotel and location for a holiday. The staff was geat, rooms clean and a bonus was that with the blinds the room could be dark for the night. The only regret was that we didn't stay for longer.

We had a little problem with the room in the beginning but got helped out very friendly and professional. The pool and garden is very nice, the restaurant and bar excellent, the food and wine outstanding. Very friendly staff. Parking included in the garage.

Best hotel in South Tyrol. Amazing and attentive staff. Genuinely nice people you meet in their reception/restaurant. Would recommend it and will be giving positive feedback on all internet platforms.

What a lovely surprise! We stayed at the Fayn and we loved it! The staff were exeptionally friendly and helpful. The accommoations and serviceexceeded our expectations and we felt very welcome. One of our favorite places to stay of all time.

The food was great, high standards, very friendly staff, the head of the hotel came up during dinner at the small talk and presented a bottle of wine with our names

Sauna & swimming pool area were very nice and comfortable. Afternoon snacks & cakes were tasty and well prepared.

A very cozy, very well run hotel and restaurant - with a great eye for detail and quality both in the rooms, drinks and food. Great location for amazing hikes!

Particular nice welcome and generally lovely staff. All there what one need for short break- in my case. Surely lovely a longer stay as well.

Copious breakfast German style included. A family run hotel with a very good restaurant to boot. Easy parking. A lift even for just two floors, and old man appreciates that.

Amazing at every detail. One of the most comfortable beds I’ve ever been. The place is just amazing and the place so warm, makes you feel cozy. The views just breathtaking!!They were really attentive with our baby and even had a chair for her ready at breakfast. I hope we have the chance to return. The breakfast delicious and very varied. Thank you!!!!

location of hotel among of nature where see green mountain every where. Quite place good for refresher & enjoy time with family. I advise hotel for honeymoon. I had been in hotel on middle of July where temperature as average 23 Celsius on day & 15 Celsius as average on night . On my experience I advise to spend whole trip on near ortisje if you looking for cool weather . Where it can be 35/42 Celsius on near Verona & Milano.

The Hotel Sonnenburg may have been our luckiest last minute decision. The pool and garden are beautiful and they have a fantastic large spa. Our room was large, very clean and comfortable with a balcony looking out over Merano. We were so glad we decided to try the half board option. Breakfast and dinner were amazing and the service was topnotch. Special thanks to Patrick, the owner, for such an accommodating stay. His suggestions of what to do and where to go, hiking etc. were so helpful. Hopefully we can return someday to this most beautiful region in the Dolomites.
