We stayed at SALA Samui Beach Resort for part of our honeymoon in Thailand and it was amazing. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, the facilities are clean, we had some delicious food from the hotel restaurant and they made our stay incredibly special. Would definitely recommend.

The Seaview balcony pool villa is awesome. Although the beach in front of hotel is public, Sala has staff clean their bit of the beach constantly , so it was super clean, while the other parts of the beach are not as clean. That is a bonus .

Our room was incredible! So pretty, clean, well designed, amazing pool! We loved it! Couldn’t leave it! The breakfast was super rich and tasty! The outside pool was really nice and so was the beach beds were really comfortable. We loved it!

Awesome hostel for 200 baht, nice pool, close to the beach, nice restaurant/bar/hangout spot with really cool staff! Always somebody there to drink with or talk to. But if you want a good night's sleep, dorms are soundproof and no party will disturb you. I would definitely go here again!

Fantastic - looks and smells great on arrival with a welcome drink, friendly and professional staff throughout. Location - ideal - 5 mins walk to fisherman’s village. Lovely pool area next to the beach - also very nice. Rooms comfortable, clean and large enough with a balcony.

The Staff are all very friendly and helpful (my Nike shoe sole was 'open' and the staff managed to get for me a super glue to fix my shoes issues). The bathtub is huge and come with a burning oil for aromatherapy! The room is spacious with 2 balcony!

Anantara Bophut was simply amazing. The staff were some of the kindest and most helpful we’ve ever met. Everything was beautifully designed, the room was comfortable and cozy, the breakfast was excellent, and the location — right by Fisherman’s Village — couldn’t be better.

The resort is beautiful, clean and well maintained. The staff is charming, polite and welcoming. The breakfast is wonderful, rich and fresh. I recommend getting a massage at the spa (it's a wonderful experience). The best choice we could ask for.

The hotel was small and cozy, the interior was quite modern and sleek. The breakfast was awesome, and the hotel is well equipped. The was a French staff, I think he was the Manager/Supervisor of the hotel that was very friendly to us. The hotel was very quiet and away from any festive noises.

I come to Thailand every year. This was definitely the best resort I have ever stayed in. Super clean , modern , great service , trained stuff , delicious breakfast choices and the rooms can get you stuck inside without going anywhere so comfortable and equipped with the smallest details.

Amazing hotel, amazing staff, amazing food, amazing pool. This place is amazing. The only downside is that it is a little far to beaches, however the hotel does have a shuttle which takes you to all of the good spots.

Excellent getaway venue, albeit inconvenient to get into town. Clean rooms & reliable wifi. Friendly & helpful staff (Jaras & his colleagues) - went the extra mile to ensure breakfast was ready 15 minutes earlier on our last day to accommodate our early departure.

The Resort was a dream - the employees were charming and friendly. The rooms were even in the basic version perfect. The jacuzzi was fun. The breakfast was great. I recommend the Hotel wholeheartedly

Nice hotel !! Very quiet and peaceful place ! Staffs were very kind and friendly!! Unfortunately I hate bugs and there were so many bugs(ants, mosquitoes, escargot, flog...etc etc...) ....anyway if you like nature’s and quiet place then this hotel can be comfortable to stay!!!

We had a great time at Sunset Beach Resort. The service is exceptional compared to other resorts in Koh Samui. The breakfast is the best part of the resort. The only downside is that the rooms need some new sheets and the jacuzzi had leaves falling into it. Overall it was a great location.

Good stay here the rooms that open on to the pool are the largest and good value for money Very comfortable would recommend it's the 2nd time I have stayed here and will stay again

There was a girl at the front desk that seamed annoyed anytime I had questions. She told one guy that there wasn't laundry service, too... He looked really confused. When I picked my laundry up from her, she said I owed 1000bat more than I did. It was luckily on the attached note on my laundry bag... So I gave her what was owed and explained that it read 1000 less. Glad I double checked. She seemed really young and not really professional.

great place nice staff good gym ,big room and open the doors to swim nothing bad to say and would stay again if the price was right looked at staying again end of this year in October but the price is about 40% more so will stay elsewhere but I would recommend this place and will hopefully stay again some time as in samui all the time

A luxurious resort with exceptionally professional and attentive staff. The villa was spotless, beautifully furnished, and featured a private pool. The beach is stunning, the breakfast excellent, and the Fire Zone restaurant offers outstanding cuisine.

Great beach location, beautiful swimming spot, and excellent staff attentiveness. Staff were extremely welcoming and professional, but also really helpful. Coffee at breakfast was the best i have had at any holiday resort.

Had an amazing 7 days there. The staff are very friendly and helpful, as most of the Thai people we met everywhere I guess. The beach was clean and white sand. For someone who cant swim very well, the non choppy nature of the waters was god sent.

Very nice territory of the hotel, rooms are huge and full of light. It’s very quiet and calm around (I had the rooms not facing the pool though) The restaurant is cool as well, you can have a dinner there as the interior and terrace are amazing, or order the food straight into your room

I loved being here. I chose a room with a view of the guest-only pool in front. The whole team, including the hotel manager, was kind and attentive. The beach in front of the hotel was clean and easily accessible from the rooms. The water had the perfect temperature and energy for swimming.

Fantastic hotel, if you going for lads trip this ain’t the place (baring the Sunday morning brunch) as is far from Chaweng Beach, but if you going to unwind or romantic this place is perfect. Staff are friendly personable and remember your preferences.

We stayed at the garden villa which was beautiful, clean and big. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful. The spa was great. I also enjoyed kayaking, paddle boarding and swimming at the hotel. Overall, it was a pleasant and relaxing stay.

We had an excellent 1 week long stay here. Above all we loved the friendly and helpful stuff at this hotel! Short lovely walk to the amazing beach. One can get great massage right at the hotel. Very calm and quite surroundings. Perfect for family with kids!

It's a beautiful peaceful and quiet place. We really liked the garden. The staff is lovely. We came here after we stayed at Chaweng Beach which is much more crowded. Here there were only a handful of people which is more to our liking. Watching the sunset everyday was wonderful.

Everything was just perfect, the staff,the location and the hotel facilities.

A lovely stay, peaceful resort and the team are very friendly and welcoming from the moment we arrived. It was a bonus to be given a free upgrade and a fresh coconut upon arrival. The team are really attentive and it was lovely for them to include us in their Songkran celebrations. We had breakfast here every morning as it was included and, the guy at the egg station cooked up perfect, tasty omelettes every time. The food available for tea was very delicious too. We would recommend staying here.

Very clean, well-mentained and beautifully embedded hotel. The rooms are modern and spacious and the sea view is stunning. There are two excellent restaurants offering excellent breakfast, lunch and dinner. We had an absolutely relaxing experience and plan to come back in the future!

Incredible location, amazing aesthetic, very clean and spacious room. Having a sea view room is essential in this hotel, the view is unbeatable. Also location is excellent, at the quieter end if fisherman’s village, but close enough to walk to the bars and restaurants. Perfect.

Amazing pool with fantastic view and swim-in bar! Super friendly and helpful staff (kudos to Harry, De De and Oboe in particular), who were super approachable and friendly and made sure our stay was pleasant and fun. Great breakfast with a lot of options incl. Thai dishes.

Explorar is an amazing Hotel 10/10 Amazing Pool Area and the beach directly in Front of the Hotel Gym and Spa also great, the Breakfast has many (healthy) and fresh options and the Coffee is great staff is super friendly and helpful

It was very peaceful, modern and so relaxing. We stayed in the beachfront pool villa, which was just amazing. Room was comfortable, the view from the outdoor area & pool was spectacular. The water was refreshing to dip in for a small pool, not hot water like some can be.

Fantastic hotel right by the beachfront. Spotlessly clean, with a beautiful and quiet pool area, and fantastic attentive staff. Also, finally, a hotel in Thailand that freely offers fresh coconuts with the breakfast buffet! Something's telling me Explorar will be my go-to option for Samui!

Always greeted by friendly polite staff, from reception to beach/bar and restaurant, all very welcoming and attentive. Rooms were beautifully decorated and always clean. Our stay was so enjoyable we extended for an additional 3 nights Food delicious.

We loved our Seaview bungalow, the staff was very friendly, the breakfast was good, the beach was kept clean in front of the resort, and the pool was great. It was also central to all the bars and restaurants in Koh Samui.

Hospitality is at the best level. All the staff is very friendly and helpful. The location is wonderful, it is in the quiet area yet very accessible to all the restaurants and shops. Wonderful beach with clear water and white sand. I would say location wise and beach wise it is the best choice.
