A very central location. The staff were very friendly. A quiet room despite being on the road. A few bars directly opposite offering a selection of local beers. A few meters from Nordstr. with lots more bars and restaurants. The breakfast was cooked locally and big selection of homemade jams.

This hotel is perfect for a Christmas Market: location is in a walking distance to everything. Ratio price to quality (room, parking, breakfast) is outstanding. Room is spacious and comfortable. Breakfast is exceptional.

A small, cosy hotel, clean and comfortable, with an excellent breakfast., and for the other meals of the day, there are several excellent restaurants within walking distance.

The rooms were clean and comfortable,the breakfast was superb, the staff were friendly and helpful.

There is always a very friendly welcome. When possible, our room will be ready, even when we come before check-in time. Breakfast is the highlight of the day. The location of the hotel is great. Plenty of nice Restaurants to choose from. Just very enjoyable overall

The Van Der Valk hotel is absolutely stunning inside, the rooms are very spacious and comfortable. I didnt use the Restaurant so i cannot advise on that but thr Bar is comfortable ,but service can be slow when busy ,only to be expected. Overall i highly rate it

This looks like a new Hotel to me, location was perfect, good restaurant and bars was around, easy to access to public transport. Breakfast was good. Staff are helpful. Good quality soap and lotions. Room facilities were good. I suggest this hotel and will stay next time.

Near all the shops and a 15 min walk to Christmas Markets. Good location, great Breakfast rooms are very big bed was amazing clean bedding every day. Very clean , nice gym and Sauna friendly staff.

Great interior styling, friendly personnel, very good breakfast, and clean and comfortable rooms. The underground parking and the free minibar were also much appreciated.

Quite surprised a disappointed to learn that at certain hours in the day between breakfast 10:30 and dinner 18:00 there is nowhere to eat in the hotel and no bar facilities. There is a coffee kiosk on the ground floor but no food other than cake etc.

The room is so welcoming and fun. You will feel like home. We stayed here for 3 times and we would definitely recommend. Don’t forget to use the sauna & visit the bar. Both with spectacular views.

The rooms have a very special interior and very comfortable beds. The hotel bar on the 17th floor is a must, since the view amazing. We had a wonderful stay and would come back any time

This hotel is located 45min walking distance from the center of Dusseldorf (the old city). The staff was helpful and friendly. The rooms were clean. Not that big. Breakfast was OK for a 4-stars hotel.

What a lovely property with exceptionally warm and friendly staff. Beautiful backyard, beautiful rooms and a charming neighborhood. Breakfast was generous and served in a relaxing setting. Free parking on the street. We wood definitely recommend staying here!

Rooms felt very modern and new. The staff at the reception and restaurant were very friendly and helpful. The restaurant has excellent food, so it is well worth having diner at the hotel restaurant!

This is an excellent place to stay. Very modern and clean, peaceful, friendly staff, good room, nice restaurant and a proper gym. I mean really a proper gym, not some BS fitness room. I highly recommend Essensio, in fact I asked if there were others.

The room was decently spacious. The shower was great. Bed and pillows were very comfortable. The sound isolation was great. The location is very quiet. The village itself is very pleasant. Gym seemed to be very nice although I did not use it. It was very busy with locals.

The facilities were excellent, our room was super comfortable, and very quiet, everything, including the sauna installations were impeccably clean, and the reception and service were also top-notch. It was a very relaxing stay. The sauna meister, Enzo, was very kind and made our experience pleasant!

Room was clean, wide and cozy, we had a good comfortable sleep. Close to train transport if you visit the city and just walking distance to other restaurants.

The receptionist that checked us in was wonderful and very helpful with helping us with things to do before check in time, I regret that I don’t remember her name! Lovely suite, very quiet and close to airport. Had a great experience in Germany generally but the hotel made it perfect.

Second visit to this hotel, it’s been refurbished the rooms are clean, modern and comfortable. Breakfast is excellent, great stop off point for travelling back to the UK. Only small gripe is why shower curtains, hate them 😀. Super comfortable beds.

I am delighted this hotel has listened to feedback and re-activated the fridges in the rooms! Aside from this the beds are comfy, the air conditioning is amazing, shower is powerful! Hotel is super quiet and meets our needs annually perfect! Keep up the good work providing what customers want!

Three of us stayed here for three nights. The staff were friendly and helpful, the spa was good and clean, the rooms were very comfortable with great facilities and the wifi was excellent. The location was good and we could walk everywhere. Couldn't fault anything about it!

If you want somewhere modern and trendy this hotel may not be for you, but if you want somewhere that is comfortable, friendly, spotlessly clean and offering a good breakfast then this hotel comes highly recommended.

It’s older hotel but spacious and clean. Everything is functional very well. Did I mention A/C is probably the best I have seen in Germany? Location is great, walkable to many attractions and transportation. It’s also on a quiet street which is great. Overall, I would stay here again.

The hotel is situated close to the train station and neighbourhood offers many fresh fruit and vegetables shops and oriental restaurants/shops. The room was clean and the bed very comfortable. There’s is a small fridge in the room, safe and tv but no tea or coffee facilities in the room.

The room was perfect! Big and comfortable bed. Lovely coffee and tea. In the bathroom all what you need . Lovely and tasty breakfast.

Hotel was super tidy and modern with very helpful staff, especially the lady on reception. The hotel is a little out from the old town but the tram station is literally 1 min walk away. It’s then only 15 mins on the tram to get into the main area!

Walking distance to train station. We took one train ride all the way from Dusseldorf hbf. There's a coffee shop around the corner. Beds are comfortable and can accommodate up to 4 people with sofa bed.

Great quality hotel, modern, clean, comfortable, good value for money, but noise during the night was terrible. The hotel hosts a club/disco/bar over the weekend. We were woken twice at 2 am and 4am from noisy hotel guests with absolutely no consideration for others.

Such a fun and unexpected place to stay and enjoy a "ski vacation" not far from home. Everything is so clean and nicely decorates, the staff is nice and the food is super tasty!

Perfect for family . Can play there all day long. Very delicious foods and breakfast. We felt very relax there. Will go back there again in the future:)

The hotel is very well located near a tram stop. Very clean, very friendly staff always willing to offer help, great hot and cold breakfast with a wonderful server. Comfortable soft beds and quite large rooms. Would definitely stay there again whilst visiting beautiful Dusseldorf.

Good location, about 20 minutes walk along the water to the old town. Impressive buildings along the way. Good size room, very nice bathroom, overall clean and very comfortable bed. Breakfast was good and staff were friendly. Would definitely stay here again.

Friendly staff and amazing breakfast. The receptionist and grill chef were extremely friendly and accommodating. The internet service and computer system at front desk was out several times slowing down check in and check out.

We were there for BOOT in Dusseldorf. The hotel was perfectly located and we slept well. EVERYONE we encountered was friendly and accommodating. Loved the breakfast bar with the honeycomb :)

I stsyed here from Monday 21st to friday 25th October, on arrival i found the two receptions very polite & efficient, i stayed in the separate put of their accommodation, the room was of decent enough size with plenty of towels & all the rooms were very clean , i suppose the ibe thing that coild be improved on, is that there was a kettle in the room but no tea/coffee etc all i had was two bottles of water , but no bottle opener , so i had to open them using y teeth ( do try this at home kids!!) , but other than that i was very satisfied with my stay. I had breakfast on 3 of the mornings & the hot food was plentiful & lots of variety of pastries, cereals & fruit juices , i stayed for work & would be happy to stay again.

The room was big and it even had a balcony. It was clean and well maintained. At night it was quiet too which was great! The staff was really friendly and ready to help. It was close to nice restaurants and shops and we found it easy to walk to the riverside.

The manager was so helpful, accommodating our van and letting us park out the back. The hotel was refurbished in 2021 so the rooms are clean, fresh and look beautiful! Comfy beds, hot shower...a light breakfast included, croissants and coffee so that was great!!

We stayed only 1 night. But it was really nice room/place. And also there is a small breakfast. You can get croissant and coffee, which is really taste. Room was so clean and bed was comfortable. Location is good, close to the city center. 15 minutes by walk. staff was so friendly and helpful.

Helpful and very welcoming staff. They provided us with city map and restaurants' suggestions. The breakfast buffet was very tasty and diverse. The rooms have a nice assortment of self-care necessities (comb, shaving kit, hair dryer, etc).

The location was very central to the Old Town of Dusseldorf. We were able to stroll around the Aldstadt easily. Very handy to the Rhine River, cafes and shops. The room was very clean and comfortable and all the staff were super friendly.

It’s a cute hotel tastefully furnished and equipped. It was quiet despite the the central location. Breakfast was amazing and the staff was very friendly in a very natural way. Everything was great!

I was very satisfied with this small hotel. Comfortable, clean room, nice breakfast room and restaurant, very good breakfast, delicious dinner, friendly and helpful staff. I have already booked my next stay in this landhaus. 😉

Very nice hotel, spacious rooms. Restaurant/pub serves great food and beer and has a nice buffet breakfast. Friendly accommodating owner and staff. Just outside of Essen in Kettwig. Short walk to historic old town Kettwig on the Ruhr River. Highly recommended when visiting Dusselldorf.

A warm welcome on arrival and an upgrade to a junior suite! Clean, comfortable and spacious with balcony. Good pub food. Friendly staff and good service. Parking available at hotel in car park. Short walk into Kettwig - nice cafes and bars in old part.

Very large suite suitable for 4 adults with comfortable seating. Very spacious bathroom. Large selection of international TV channels. Free parking. Delicious breakfast, many different food items to choose from, spoilt for choice. Dinner in hotel restaurant was adequate. Good internet.

centrally located with clear instructions how to get there. It was clean, there was tea&coffee available. Amazing shower, comfortable beds and a nice television with a great choice of movies/series! Perfect for a short stay in Düsseldorf

The apartment was spacious, clean and in a great location close to local restuarants and bars. Staff helpful with booking taxis and asked if we needed anything on mutiple occasions.

Perfect location, close to oldtown. Apartment was clean, big enough, comfortable bed, has mini kitchen with all equipments needed. There is even Netflix. Good wifi.
